Are you having doubts about such an awesome hobby, or just trying to make conversation?

I kind of "fell into" collecting video games. While I don't have too many titles that are super rare, or even in super-great condition, I do have a lot of titles.

Basically, I never sold what I had, and I took care of what I owned. Couple that with the passion that I had for gaming, and I ended up with a lot of games.

I did give collecting "for the sake of collecting" a try about two years ago, and I picked up just a TON of games and systems... But I've discovered that I mostly just like to play. Now I have a bunch of titles I haven't even played. I'll get to those titles eventually.

In short:  Don't collect, do play.

I don't buy any game unless I intend to actually play it. ut even at that I do like to have the original case and manual with disc-based games.

Well i collect em cuz its something intresting at first i was just doing systems but i started doing games been doing it for the past 6 years now and i started off with almost nothing. The only reason you should collect them if you want to or you just wanna show off. It comes down to your own choice ya don't have to collect them you could just buy the ones you wanna play and collect those.
