Man, I don't know what else to say about it. Their percentage of incomplete games (Madden missing modes in next gen for instance), their smacktalk about their competitors ("Gears of War offers Zero Innovation" crap), their predatory pricing practices in the 360 Marketplace... The fact that they pioneered the $60 price point this generation (yeah, that wasn't Microsoft... that was EA, and Activision followed suit).

I'm so sick of how they treat their customers.

The latest example is here: Major Nelson's Interview (about an hour in)

Check out the comments on the Major Nelson blog. Pretty much sums up my thoughts.

yeah i know, i tried to get a free trial of "The Sims Online" and their site said that you had to give them your billing information before they would send you the trial activation code.

I did that but I never recieved my code, then I found out that they were billing me for gameplay on the account for three months, contacted them but they wont even give a refund ><

What sucks most is that when one of their studios produces a genuinely great game (like skate), it automatically gets ragged on for bearing the stigma of an EA game. Which isn't completely unjustified- you can tell where the EA marketing machine muscled its way into development with features like the fully-branded Sidekick (don't call it a phone, it's a SIDEKICK (r)), and the billboards splattered with IGN ads. Although to be honest I have seen worse out of EA- company-sponsored acheivements, anyone?
