Every now and then I see things on non-Ebay auctions that I already have but strike me as a pretty good package of items that would lay the framework for kicking off your a collection on a new system that I do not often see for auction.  I thought I would give a shot at a thread for listing those.

Here we have my personal fav, the Atari 800XL, with everything you need to get started.  The only possible gap I see is the cable to connect it to your TV.

That's a great deal on all of that.  I have 1 or 2 Atari 800 games, and no Atari to play them on...

You do run the risk of it not working.  They'll plug it in a and make sure the light comes on but that's about it.

I see the flashbacks often.  There's a lot of SMS games that I saw today.  Those don't pop up very often.

I had also never heard of a Sega Nomad until today.

Question:  Is the 800 a ton better, or is the 400 "good enough" - how much exclusive 800 stuff would I be missing out on?

I can dig on "mint condition," but I don't own an Atari computer yet.

The 400 was the early model.  I have one simply to mark it off the collection list but only used it to see one in action.  It's the lowest of the low on the processing end.  I'm not even sure fully loaded with memory expansions would compare to the later 8bit systems.

Though if the pricetag on this things stays so low I might just get it for the box.
