E3 2014: Nintendo Announces and Shows off Legend of Zelda for Wii U

Nintendo

The newest Legend of Zelda game for WiiU has been announced and shown by Nintendo.  The newest Zelda game is an open world game - there won't be loading between segments of the game, and likewise, there will will be many ways to get from one area to another.

Link's use of the bow was shown off during this trailer, as were the stunning graphics which use a cartoon-like shading, similar to, but also very different than Wind Waker.  While the developer of the Zelda, Eiji Aonuma presented the theory and concepts behind the game, not much of the actual game was shown.  Most of the video featured Link on a horse in the middle of a (stunning) field.

Late in the video, it was revealed that The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is releasing in 2015 - it won't make it out this year.

Here's the trailer that Nintendo showed off during their E3 2014 Wii U digital event.
